Dear customers and friends of the CHIRON Group,
»Making Progress happen« – that is the guiding theme of this issue of speedfactor. A major driver of this progress is Roman Gaida, who became CEO of the CHIRON Group on 1 July. Together within the Group Executive Committee we are implementing our Strategy 2030 and sharpening our profile as a focused and efficient solution provider for the future markets of precision manufacturing.
In our interview, Roman Gaida explains how his hands-on manufacturing background and international experience have shaped him, how he views leadership and the mindset with which he intends to further develop the CHIRON Group.
We are driving progress through our portfolio by aligning it even more closely with your application scenarios. Our focus is on three key areas: Small Precision Parts, productive high-volume manufacturing, and flexible machining solutions for small and medium-sized batches. Going forward, we will offer even more integrated manufacturing concepts – both for established target industries such as Medical Technology, Aerospace and Precision Technology, as well as for emerging application fields such as Electronics.
One example is the integrated combination of the Micro5 XL and perfectly matched automation for the highly dynamic and scalable production of complex precision parts. Another is the flexible MT 715 mill-turn center, which machines demanding materials and complex workpieces in one continuous process. In the IMPULS section, we also address a key question: What does it take to turn 5-axis machining into a competitive advantage for your business?
In INTOUCH, you will discover how the BTU chesco research center uses three FZ 19 S five axis machining centers to bring innovative aerospace components from digital concept to test bench more quickly. We also present a manufacturing solution based on a MILL 3000 that enables Dowaldwerke to machine long aluminum profiles for rail vehicles more efficiently.
In INSIDE, get to know the team behind the CHIRON Group Academy and explore its comprehensive training program, designed to help you unlock the full potential of your manufacturing solutions. And we say »Ciao, Italia!« as we introduce our site in Rodano Millepini and the vibrant business metropolis of Milan.
We also take a look at the international exhibition highlights of 2026. Whether at OPEN HOUSE, ILA, EPHJ or WINNOTIME, we are engaging with customers around the world and bringing complete solutions for demanding manufacturing tasks to life.
We also look forward to welcoming you to AMB 2026. Visit us at Booth C52 in Hall 10, meet our experts and join the dialogue. See you in Stuttgart!
